Description

The role will be responsible for ensuring quality of the solutions delivered and deployed, utilizing various tools for automation that can be executed on demand or as part of a CI/CD pipeline. This automation includes front-end, back-end, integration, performance, scalability, and regression testing of various applications. The ability to work as part of a team and independently is required.

Responsibilities

• Test Planning and Strategy: Understanding the software development life cycle and being able to devise test plans and strategies for software testing
• Automation Skills: Proficiency in using automation testing tools and frameworks
• Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages like Java, JavaScript, Python, C#, or other scripting languages
• Testing Frameworks and Tools: Familiarity with various testing frameworks and tools, such as JUnit, TestNG, NUnit, or others, and knowing how to apply them effectively in automation testing
• Debugging and Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills to identify issues in the software and the automated testing scripts
• Documentation and Reporting: Documenting test scripts, test results, and any issues discovered during testing
• Creating comprehensive reports and summaries for stakeholders

Qualifications

• Courses in programming languages like Java, Python, or C#
• ISTQB Foundation Level or Advanced Test Automation Engineer
• Certifications in tools like Selenium or Postman are advantageous
• Experience-based testing
